Mouth Rinses
Using a mouth rinse or mouthwash will enhance your oral hygiene. Each mouthwash is different, so make sure to read the label and follow the directions that are given. In general, use a mouthwash after each time you brush your teeth. There are two different types of mouth rinses. Antiseptic and anti-plaque mouth rinss supposedly kill plaque causing germs, gingivitis, and bad breath. Another type is anti-cavity mouth rinse which has fluoride in it to prevent tooth decay. These types are considered therapeutic. The other form of mouth was is cosmetic. Cosmetic mouthwashes are there just to remove oral debris, decrease bacteria, and fight bad breath with a refreshing taste. Call today to schedule your next appointment! (928)774-5599
