I understand the 5 Simple Techniques for Directed Water Irrigation:
- Use water as warm as I can comfortably tolerate.
- Aim the Irrigation Tip directly in between my teeth. In the spaces, not at the gums. (Shoot it where my floss would go.)
- Keep the Pressure all the way on High(or as High as I can comfortably tolerate.)
- Hold the water stream directly in between my teeth for a MINIMUM OF FIVE FULL SECONDS. This is absolutely essential.
- Move on to the next space and repeat this process. I won't forget the back of the last tooth, or the front and back of a tooth that might be standing alone. I only have to spray in one direction…from the cheek side to the tongue side.
